Alesia Games & Studies

Alesia Games, a New Board Games Publisher.

Alesia Games was founded recently. We are a little group of game designers working in our passion, board games. At present we have published one game, Princeps Machiavelli (an experimental limited edition), we are working in two more projects and we hope they were published soon.

Moreover, we want to promote the study of games and we are working to publish historical books and documentation for game designers and board gamers.

For questions, possible collaborations or other interests, please contact to Alesia Games at the info section.

Working Projects

At present, we are working in two game projects and in a new edition of an historical book.

At present, we are working in two game projects and in a new edition of an historical book.

The first game is a classical hex WWI aircraft boardgame. This interesting game takes the Blue Max philosophy and reaches a new original game concept.

The second game is a cards game that simulates the naval conflicts in the Caribbean Seas during the XVII century.  The theme of the game is treated in an abstract way with a little of fantasy but always trying to show accurately the epoch, using real ships, captains, weapons and territories.

The last project is a new edition of the medieval codex Alphonso X's Book of Games. This book is a keystone for game designers, certainly the first treatise about games in history.
